Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has been released from the hospital to continue his recovery at home following a recent medical emergency at the club's training center. Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that doctors diagnosed Kompany with brain irritation. Eberl expressed relief at the positive update ahead of Bayern Munich's German Cup match against Magdeburg, though no official return date has been set.
Reports indicate Kompany also sustained a dislocated shoulder during a fall related to the incident, while serious conditions like a stroke or heart attack were ruled out. His absence is expected to last several more weeks. In the meantime, assistant coach Aaron Danks will continue to lead the team from the Bayern Munich bench.
