Executive Dana Brown is reportedly returning to the Atlanta Braves front office under Alex Anthopoulos to work on the amateur scouting side. Brown previously served a key role leading the draft for Atlanta before departing to work as the top executive for the Houston Astros.
In addition to Brown's return, the Braves re-signed depth utilityman Vidal Brujan on a minor league contract. Other notable baseball moves include the San Diego Padres declining Nick Pivetta's option and the Tampa Bay Rays exercising their club option on Drew Rasmussen.
