October was one for mixed feelings for Chelsea with injuries, form, red cards, derby defeats, superb goals all providing the highlight for the month.

The Pride of London reflects on a turbulent October for Xabi Alonso's Chelsea, which featured a mix of key victories and frustrating setbacks. The Blues enjoyed a 5-1 win over Bournemouth, a road victory at Everton, and closed out the month with a 2-0 triumph against Manchester United featuring goals from Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer.
However, the month also brought significant difficulties, including a 2-0 derby loss to Tottenham where Palmer was sent off. Chelsea were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup on penalties by Liverpool after a 1-1 draw, alongside injuries suffered by Emi Martinez and Maxence Lacroix.
