Three shots behind with 10 holes to play, Fifa Laopakdee rallied to become the second player to win back-to-back Asia-Pacific Amateur titles Sunday.

Thailand's Fifa Laopakdee claimed his second consecutive Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship title at Te Arai Links in New Zealand, closing with a 1-under 70 for a three-shot victory. The win earned the 21-year-old Arizona State senior invitations to the upcoming Masters at Augusta National and the British Open at St. Andrews.
Laopakdee trailed Zack Swanwick by three strokes before a four-shot swing on the 11th hole propelled him into the lead. Finishing at 6-under 278, Laopakdee joined Hideki Matsuyama as the only back-to-back winners in the tournament's history.
