Unai Emery wants Aston Villa to work more after disappointing draw

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery stated that his squad still has plenty of work to do following a disappointing draw against Fulham. Despite extending their unbeaten Premier League run to five matches with three wins and two draws, Emery felt his team dropped their performance levels in the second half. He conceded that a draw was a fair result after Fulham took control and created scoring opportunities.

Emery urged his players to swiftly refocus as Aston Villa prepare for upcoming fixtures against Barcelona in the Champions League and Manchester United in the Premier League. The report also highlights speculation surrounding United manager Michael Carrick, noting rumors that Emery could be considered as a potential replacement.
