Arsenal have opened discussions over Martin Odegaard’s future, with the captain’s contract situation beginning to attract attention from elsewhere in Europe.

Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Martin Odegaard's contract status as Arsenal hold early talks over extending their captain's stay. According to a report attributed to Sky Germany, Arsenal have already engaged in initial informal discussions to secure the Norway international on a new long-term deal.
Odegaard's current contract runs until 2028, and a transfer is not considered imminent as Arsenal intend to keep their skipper. The midfielder initially joined from Real Madrid on loan in January 2021 before making a permanent transfer that August, becoming an essential figure under manager Mikel Arteta.
