Josh Addo-Carr’s Parramatta tenure could be over as soon as Monday after being ordered to appear before Eels directors over his latest drugs drama.
Parramatta could terminate Josh Addo-Carr’s contract as early as Monday after summoning the winger to face the Eels board. Addo-Carr allegedly tested positive for cocaine during a random roadside police test in September. With players set to return to pre-season training, the club seeks to resolve his future despite police not yet releasing the results of a secondary sample.
Addo-Carr will be accompanied by his lawyer Elias Tabchouri and agent Marcel Tartak to present his version of events. Because this incident follows a previous roadside drug test issue that ended his tenure with Canterbury, the report notes he has likely played his final game for Parramatta. If confirmed positive, he faces a 12-game suspension.
