The NHL insider reported that Dylan Larkin might be changing the list of teams he is willing to accept a trade to and this could be the opportunity the Buffalo Sabres need.

Elliotte Friedman reported that Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin could alter his 10-team trade list within 24 to 48 hours. Larkin announced he will no longer play for Detroit, but holds a full no-trade clause limiting potential permanent trade destinations. Friedman noted several preferred contenders lack the salary cap space or assets to complete a deal, which could lead Larkin to revise his accepted landing spots.
The Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens are reportedly interested in trading for Larkin, though neither club was on his original approved list. Croce notes that Buffalo's recent strong form and geographic location could position them well if Larkin decides to expand or modify his designated trade destinations.
