Everton legend Peter Reid spoke at the 35th Dixie Dean Memorial Award Evening at Goodison Park…

Everton legend Peter Reid has stated that man-management, recruitment, and youth policy are the three key areas the club must master to achieve success again. Speaking at the 35th Dixie Dean Memorial Award Evening, the former midfielder argued that the Blues are currently far from where they need to be in those departments, while also expressing frustration with modern squad rotation.
Reid praised youngsters Tyler Dibling and Harrison Armstrong, contrasting their development with Sunderland's £17 million signing of Brian Brobbey as an example of effective recruitment. His remarks came ahead of Everton's Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against League Two side Fleetwood Town scheduled for December.
