Stewart has returned to Hampden more than six months after being banned from the national stadium by the SFA.
Pundit Michael Stewart has returned to Hampden Park following a six-month ban imposed by the Scottish Football Association. The former Hearts and Hibs midfielder made his comeback for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final between Rangers and Aberdeen after resolving a long-running dispute with the governing body.
The initial ban was issued earlier in the year following Stewart's harsh criticism of Scottish referees and Head of Refereeing Willie Collum. Stewart issued an apology via a statement from Premier Sports, conceding that some of his past remarks were "over the top."
