Senators Week Ahead: Schedule & Storylines – Record-setting October, Stützle and Batherson Leading and More

The Ottawa Senators enter November following a record-setting October with a 9-5-1 record, led by productive offensive performances from Tim Stützle and Drake Batherson. Stützle set a franchise record for points in October with nine goals and 12 assists, while Batherson extended his point streak to seven games. The club faces upcoming matchups against the Anaheim Ducks, Buffalo Sabres, and Utah Mammoth.

Ottawa continues to deal with multiple key injuries, including goaltender Linus Ullmark, forward Warren Foegele, and Andre Burakovsky, who is projected to miss at least a month with a lower-body injury. However, defenseman Thomas Chabot has returned to action, and goaltender Samuel Ersson secured his first victory for the team in a 5-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on October 31.
