Atlanta Braves prospect Isaiah Drake put together a standout performance on Saturday in the Arizona Fall League, helping lead the Glendale Desert Dogs to a 9-8 win over the Peoria Javelinas. Drake went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, drew a walk, drove in two runs, and hit his first AFL home run—a 403-foot blast with a 102.4 MPH exit velocity.
Several other Braves prospects also contributed to Glendale's victory. Tate Southisene went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored, while Owen Carey finished 0-for-4. On the mound, Tyler LaPorte threw 1.2 scoreless innings without allowing a baserunner, and Logan Samuels pitched a scoreless frame to earn his second AFL win.
