Chicago Blackhawks rookie Anton Frondell scored two goals in a loss against the Boston Bruins, achieving a rare NHL scoring milestone. Frondell became just the seventh Swedish-born teenager in league history to record multiple multigoal games, joining Lucas Raymond, Elias Pettersson, Leo Carlsson, Elias Lindholm, Gabriel Landeskog, and Mats Sundin.
Writer Todd Matthews notes that the achievement highlights Frondell's emergence as an important piece in Chicago's rebuild alongside star Connor Bedard. Matthews also highlights fellow young contributors Roman Kantserov, Wyatt Kaiser, Frank Nazer, and Artyom Levshunov, suggesting Frondell could become a serious Calder Trophy contender.
