Barry Horne believes Middlesbrough striker Will Lankshear is a player Everton should be considering as they look to strengthen their squad in January.

Former Everton midfielder Barry Horne has suggested that Everton should target Middlesbrough striker Will Lankshear during the January transfer window. Speaking on ToffeeWeb's Once a Blue podcast, Horne argued that the 21-year-old forward has demonstrated he can step up to the Premier League after scoring 13 goals in 13 Championship appearances.
Everton are reportedly evaluating options to supplement striker Thierno Barry after failing to sign Folarin Balogun on deadline day. Horne urged the club to reconsider recruiting from the Championship, citing past successes such as Tim Cahill, Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, and Joleon Lescott.
