SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Italy head coach Gonzalo Quesada has named a 33-man squad for a training camp in Turin as preparations continue for Saturday's Test against the Springboks on November 7.

Italy head coach Gonzalo Quesada has selected a 33-man squad for a training camp in Turin ahead of their November 7 Test against the Springboks. Argentina-born flyhalf Domingo Miotti received his maiden call-up to the Italian national team. The Montpellier back qualifies for Italy through ancestry under World Rugby Regulation 8, having last played for Argentina in July 2022.
Quesada explained that conversations regarding Miotti's eligibility began three years ago before resuming recently. The head coach highlighted that Miotti's arrival enhances squad depth alongside flyhalves Paolo Garbisi, Tommaso Allan, and Giacomo Da Re. Italy will face South Africa first in their November series, followed by fixtures against Argentina and Fiji.
