Wouter Vrancken attributed Hearts’ loss to Hibernian in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden to injuries as his casualty list climbed to 10.
Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken confirmed that Calvin Miller is in a brace and awaiting scan results after suffering an injury during their Premier Sports Cup semi-final defeat to Hibernian at Hampden. Tomas Magnusson was also forced off and taken to the hospital following a suspected concussion, bringing Hearts' total casualty list to 10 first-team players.
Claudio Braga opened the scoring early for Hearts, but the first-half injuries disrupted the side, allowing Hibernian to secure a 2-1 victory through goals from Martin Boyle and Jamie McGrath. Vrancken voiced frustration over having less than 70 percent squad availability this season and noted that players may need to be deployed out of position in upcoming fixtures.
