Zion Suzuki wasn't the only Aston Villa player who struggled on Saturday night against Fulham.

GiveMeSport's Alfie Cairns Culshaw argues that goalkeeper Zion Suzuki's high-profile error against Fulham has overshadowed a poor 3/10 display from midfielder Leon Goretzka. Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Fulham after Suzuki dropped an Alex Iwobi corner into his own net, cancelling out Nicolas Jackson's first-half opener for Unai Emery's side.
Culshaw asserts that Goretzka struggled throughout his 66 minutes on the pitch, completing only 16 passes and offering little defensive resistance during Fulham's dominant spell. The writer notes that Villa gained control only after Emery substituted the 31-year-old German midfielder for Joao Gomes.
