Despite a productive Summer League and preseason, the Sacramento Kings are not putting Jonathan Mogbo to work the way they should.

Writer Ian Goodwillie argues that the Sacramento Kings must give consistent playing time to Jonathan Mogbo to avoid hindering his development. Mogbo joined Sacramento on a two-way contract after being waived by the Toronto Raptors during the offseason. After impressing during Summer League and the preseason, Mogbo has seen erratic playing time under coach Doug Christie to start the regular season.
Goodwillie notes that Mogbo averaged 17.3 minutes per contest across the team's first six games, with his playing time fluctuating between zero and 25 minutes. The writer urges Christie to establish a steady role of 10 to 12 minutes per game for Mogbo alongside young teammates like Nique Clifford and Alex Karaban.
