PCA, Bregman both win their second Gold Glove Award

Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and third baseman Alex Bregman each earned their second career Rawlings Gold Glove Award on Sunday. Crow-Armstrong won his second consecutive honor in center field, while Bregman secured his second award overall and his first since joining the Cubs. Their standout defensive efforts anchored a Chicago defense that led the Majors with single-season Statcast-era records of +72 fielding run value and +72 outs above average.

Crow-Armstrong set a Statcast-era record for outfielders with an MLB-leading +26 fielding run value, alongside an MLB-best +26 outs above average. Bregman rebounded from an early-season adjustment to post a +7 fielding run value, tying for the MLB lead among third basemen, while also tallying +15 defensive runs saved.
