The Miami Dolphins surrendered a first-half lead to fall 24-19 against the New England Patriots. Miami built a 13-3 halftime advantage behind two Zane Gonzalez field goals and a one-yard touchdown pass from Malik Willis to Malik Washington. However, New England rallied across the final two quarters, propelled by Drake Maye's 43-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Williams and a two-yard rushing touchdown.

New England extended their lead in the fourth quarter following a deflected interception off Willis, resulting in a 48-yard touchdown pass from Maye to DeMario Douglas. Willis connected with Kevin Coleman Jr. for a late 35-yard touchdown, but a failed two-point conversion and unsuccessful onside kick sealed Miami's defeat.
