The Baltimore Ravens may explore a trade for Chicago Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent ahead of the trade deadline, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Baltimore faces a significant depth crisis at quarterback after starter Lamar Jackson was placed on injured reserve with a severe thumb injury that could sideline him for the rest of the season.
With secondary option Tyler Huntley also sidelined due to turf toe, Joe Fagnone is currently positioned to start for Baltimore. Florio reports that acquiring Bagent will not come cheap, as Chicago is expected to attempt to maximize the trade value for the 26-year-old quarterback.
