Cam Ward and the Titans still lost, but the bye week arrives after a shootout in Cincinnati that delivered something this team hasn't produced all season.

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward delivered a breakout performance in a 43-36 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Ward recorded his first career 300-yard passing game, going toe-to-toe with Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns before rushing for the game-winning score in overtime.
Writer Buck Reising argues that despite Robert Saleh's seventh straight loss, Ward's strong play behind an injury-depleted offensive line offers real hope for the franchise. The Titans forced four takeaways, including three interceptions by Amani Hooker, but surrendered a 13-0 first-quarter lead as the defense struggled down the stretch.
