The Los Angeles Lakers had every reason to feel comfortable heading into the final minutes against the Toronto Raptors. Luka Doncic had delivered another extraordinary performance, and JJ Redick’s team appeared to have the game under control. However, a decision…

Austin Reaves had to awkwardly retrieve a headband he gave to a fan after Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick was forced to reinsert his starters during a chaotic 131-125 win over the Toronto Raptors. Holding a 16-point lead with under two minutes remaining, Redick emptied his bench, but a flurry of turnovers cut the deficit to six points, prompting a late-game reversal.
Reaves, Luka Doncic, and Walker Kessler returned with 44 seconds left to secure the victory. Doncic posted a historic stat line of 45 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, and five steals, while Redick stated afterward that he would not pull his starters early again.
