Texas Rangers super-utility player Ezequiel Duran has won his first career American League Gold Glove Award, Rawlings announced on Sunday. Nicknamed "The Solution," Duran became the first player in Rangers franchise history to secure a Gold Glove at the utility position after earning praise throughout the season from manager Skip Schumaker.
Duran started games at seven different defensive positions during the 2026 season, excluding only pitcher and catcher. He led the Rangers with 16 outs above average, which tied for sixth overall across Major League Baseball.
