Former two-time heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is expected to pile on the pounds for his fight with Anthony Joshua - a tactic which has backfired in the past…

Tyson Fury has revealed that he expects to weigh 280 pounds for his upcoming heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua on December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The 38-year-old shared the weight target on Instagram, describing the extra size as incoming and noting his physical build ahead of the all-British showdown.
James Evans highlights that a similar strategy backfired during Fury's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, in which Fury entered at 281 pounds and lost on points. Fury previously weighed 265 pounds when defeating Mariusz Wach in July, while Joshua stopped Kristian Prenga in his last appearance.
