Falkirk claimed their first win against Celtic since 2007 as the champions missed another chance to extend their lead in the Scottish Premiership title race.

Falkirk earned a 2-0 victory over Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, preventing Martin O'Neill's side from moving seven points clear at the top of the table. Ethan Ross opened the scoring for the hosts in the third minute after an error from Cameron Carter-Vickers. Scott Tanser added a second goal in the 38th minute, beating Carter-Vickers before finding the bottom corner.
Former Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain made 10 saves to preserve the clean sheet for John McGlynn's side, securing Falkirk's first win over Celtic since 2007. Despite the defeat, Celtic remain four points ahead of second-placed Rangers having played one extra match, while Falkirk moved up to fourth place in the standings.
