Uefa have demanded answers over a number of controversies at Fifa during Infantino’s presidency…
UEFA is still waiting for answers from FIFA regarding a wide-ranging series of inquiries submitted about Gianni Infantino's presidency ahead of a November 2 deadline. On October 19, UEFA general secretary Theodore Theodoridis wrote to FIFA counterpart Mattias Grafstrom outlining 42 specific topics on behalf of European FIFA Council members, but received no response as of midday Monday.
The inquiries demand transparency concerning Infantino's shelved proposal for private investment in World Cup commercial operations, documentation on the Folarin Balogun disciplinary case, and clarity on potential conflicts of interest. Meanwhile, UEFA has pledged to identify a challenger to run against Infantino in the upcoming FIFA presidential election.
