The Houston Texans are signing defensive tackle Naquan Jones to their active roster off the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad, according to a report from Aaron Wilson. The move brings the 28-year-old defensive lineman back to Houston after a prior stint with the organization earlier in the year.
Jones originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State in 2021. Throughout his career, he has spent time with the Titans, Cardinals, Dolphins, Chargers, Texans, and Vikings. In 2026, Jones appeared in three games for the 49ers, recording two total tackles.
