Clippers vs Raptors Preview: No Kawhi Reunion This Time

The Los Angeles Clippers host the Toronto Raptors at Intuit Dome in their first meeting since trading Kawhi Leonard, though Leonard will miss the matchup due to knee issues. Both teams enter the contest in slumps, with the Clippers sitting at a 1-5 record following consecutive blowout defeats, while Toronto has struggled through a multi-game skid since losing Leonard to injury.

The Clippers continue to face severe roster shortages, with Brandon Ingram, Max Strus, Bradley Beal, Jordan Miller, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser all ruled out. Derrick Jones Jr. is listed as questionable alongside Toronto center Jakob Poeltl. Writer Robert Flom notes uncertainty over whether Los Angeles will acknowledge Leonard with a tribute, suggesting any recognition is likely to remain minimal amid the fallout from the Aspiration scandal.
