Quarterback Drake Maye led the New England Patriots to a 24-19 comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. After trailing 13-3 at halftime amid injuries and poor weather, Maye orchestrated three straight second-half touchdown drives. He connected on a 43-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Williams, scored on a two-yard run, and added a 48-yard touchdown pass to DeMario Douglas.
New England entered the game severely shorthanded, missing multiple offensive linemen and receivers before tight end Hunter Henry left with an early injury. Despite these setbacks, Maye completed 9 of 10 passes for 146 yards in the final two quarters to finish with a perfect 158.3 passer rating, earning strong praise from head coach Mike Vrabel.
