The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have received a concrete injury update on one of their star defenders.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker YaYa Diaby suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain during the team's 16-0 Week 8 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Diaby is set to miss several games but is expected to return within a matter of weeks, avoiding a season-ending absence.
Diaby was forced out of Sunday's game early after contributing to Tampa Bay's dominant defensive performance. Through eight games this season, the pass rusher has recorded 16 tackles, three sacks, an interception, and two pass breakups for the Buccaneers.
