Stoke City will face in-form striker Andri Gudjohnsen as they travel to play Blackburn Rovers. The 24-year-old forward, who is the son of former Stoke player Eidur Gudjohnsen, joined Blackburn from Gent in summer 2025. He has scored nine goals in 13 appearances so far this season under manager Tony Mowbray, following an injury-hampered first season where he scored seven goals in 25 games.
Mowbray praised Gudjohnsen's attributes, highlighting his physical presence, striking ability, and humble attitude. While Eidur Gudjohnsen had a brief spell with Stoke, his son is noted as one of multiple active footballers with family ties to former Potters players.
