The Bruins will wear the Varsity Sweaters a dozen times this season, debuting on Nov. 12 against the Canadiens.

The Boston Bruins have unveiled their new "Varsity Sweater" third jersey as part of the NHL's Hometown Remix collection. The team is scheduled to wear the new uniforms 12 times during the season, making their on-ice debut on November 12 against the Montreal Canadiens.
The uniform marks the Bruins' first all-brown design since their inaugural 1924 season and pays homage to Boston's collegiate hockey scene. The design features a collegiate look with a secondary crest, front-side numerals last used in the 1940s, and a hemline styled after the city's Freedom Trail.
