The 'real reason' Oleksandr Usyk refuses to fight at heavyweight again has been revealed…

Oleksandr Usyk confirmed he will not fight at heavyweight again because he believes he has completely cleaned out the division. The Ukrainian star vacated his heavyweight titles over the past year following victories over Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. A proposed farewell fight against Deontay Wilder failed to materialize due to financial disagreements.
Usyk announced plans to return to cruiserweight in 2027 to conclude his career. According to his team, Usyk will target a vacant cruiserweight world title before aiming to fight reigning champion David Benavidez for the undisputed championship.
