Transfer windows in South London bring plenty of noise, but every so often a rumor emerges that makes complete sense for our long-term trajectory. Fulham and Crystal Palace could battle it out to bring Trabzonspor’s Chibuike Nwaiwu to the Premier…
Fulham and Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing to compete for Trabzonspor centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu in the upcoming winter transfer window. The 23-year-old Nigerian international defender has attracted strong interest from both Premier League sides, with Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa expected to table a fresh bid after failing to complete a permanent transfer in the summer.
Trabzonspor previously rejected bids of €20m and €28m from Fulham, demanding between €30m and €35m. The Turkish club is expected to maintain a firm stance due to squad injuries, meaning any permanent transfer to Pierre Sage's Crystal Palace or Fulham will likely require an astronomical fee.
