These Tigers could be facing the end of their time in Detroit ahead of 40-man roster crunches.

Writer Katrina Stebbins argues the Detroit Tigers should trade Jace Jung and Wenceel Pérez, while parting ways with Matt Vierling and Bailey Horn ahead of the 40-man roster deadline. With eight players returning from the 60-day injured list and only four open spots, president of baseball operations Scott Harris faces an impending roster crunch.
Stebbins notes that crowded infield and outfield depth charts make Jung and Pérez expendable trade candidates. Meanwhile, ongoing injury struggles for Vierling and Horn's recovery from July Tommy John surgery make both players prime candidates to be let go.
