Manchester United are outside the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference and Gary Neville has issued his verdict…

Gary Neville has stated that he does not expect Manchester United to end up in a relegation battle, despite describing their current slump as a real worry. Speaking to Sky Sports following United's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, the former defender reflected on the club sitting 17th in the Premier League table, outside the bottom three only on goal difference after a nine-game winless run.
Neville noted that Michael Carrick's side is stuck in a rut and falls to pieces whenever they fall behind in matches. With challenging upcoming fixtures against Roma, Aston Villa, and Liverpool, Neville warned that any well-organized opponent will continue to pose major problems for United.
