The Mets are claiming righty Jack Anderson off waivers from the Twins, reports Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. More to come…

The New York Mets are claiming right-handed pitcher Jack Anderson off waivers from the Minnesota Twins, according to a report from Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Minnesota had evidently placed Anderson on waivers amid offseason roster crunch deadlines, including the reinstatement of players from the 60-day injured list.
This move marks Anderson's second waiver claim of the 2026 season after previously being claimed by Minnesota from the Boston Red Sox in July. Across seven career major league appearances, the righty has posted a 2.19 ERA over 12 1/3 innings and still possesses minor league options.
