The Pittsburgh Penguins had a couple more injuries pop up on Monday.

The Pittsburgh Penguins practiced shorthanded on Monday after forward Evgeni Malkin and defenseman Kaedan Korczak were sidelined with day-to-day injuries. Both players featured in Saturday's 5-4 defeat to the Montreal Canadiens before being held out of practice. In response to the absences, Pittsburgh recalled forward Justin Brazeau from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins following a conditioning stint.
Penguins head coach Dan Muse confirmed that Brazeau is available for Tuesday's home matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, while also expressing limited concern regarding Malkin's injury status. With Korczak sidelined, the defensive pairings rotated during practice ahead of Tuesday's 7 p.m. ET contest.
