Udinese have officially appointed Paolo Zanetti as their new head coach, hours after sacking Kosta…
Udinese have officially appointed Paolo Zanetti as their new head coach on a contract running through June 30, 2027. The 43-year-old manager arrives shortly after the dismissal of Kosta Runjaic, who lost his job following a 5-2 home defeat against Roma. Zanetti will oversee his first training session on Tuesday afternoon before facing a media unveiling on Wednesday.
Zanetti steps into a difficult scenario with Udinese sitting on just five points through 10 matches and enduring an eight-game winless stretch. His first fixture in charge comes this Friday against his former club, bottom-placed Venezia, where he previously earned Serie A promotion in 2021.
