Sabres could be without winger Zach Benson, who left in the third period of the 3-2 win over Los Angeles on Saturday…

Buffalo Sabres forward Konsta Helenius is sidelined week-to-week with an upper-body injury, while four teammates returned to practice on Monday. Following a three-game California road sweep, head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed Helenius was evaluated after getting injured against the San Jose Sharks. Meanwhile, Jiri Kulich returned to full practice after clearing concussion protocol, alongside recovering players Conor Timmins, Justin Danforth, and goaltender Alex Lyon.
Winger Zach Benson missed Monday's session for maintenance after leaving Saturday's win over Los Angeles, though Ruff listed him as day-to-day. Goaltender Lyon expressed optimism about nearing a return following an earlier rehab setback. Timmins and Danforth also practiced for the first time following multi-week absences, as the Sabres evaluate their readiness for upcoming game action.
