After historic season, PCA named NL MVP finalist

The finalists for the 2026 Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) awards are being announced live on MLB Network. The presentation covers several major honors, including the Most Valuable Player, Cy Young, Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, and the newly introduced Relief Pitcher of the Year awards.

The National League MVP finalists include Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs, Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Brice Turang of the Milwaukee Brewers. Finalists for the American League MVP are Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros, Junior Caminero of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals. Award winners will be officially revealed starting the week of November 9.
