With Domantas Sabonis' frustration in Sacramento nearing a boiling point, the Raptors need to jump at the chance to trade for him.

Following reports from ESPN's Tim MacMahon that Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis wants out after an 0-6 start, Raptors Rapture writer Chris Lambert argues that the Toronto Raptors must pursue a trade for the big man. Lambert contends that Sabonis' desire to leave Sacramento reduces the Kings' leverage, presenting general manager Bobby Webster with an ideal opportunity to solve Toronto's frontcourt issues.
To facilitate a permanent trade matching Sabonis' $45-plus million salary, Lambert proposes packaging Jakob Poeltl alongside RJ Barrett and draft assets. Lambert suggests Barrett would have fewer on-ball opportunities next to Sabonis, whereas Immanuel Quickley would thrive alongside Sabonis, Scottie Barnes, and Kawhi Leonard.
