Gossip: Barcelona send scouts to watch Estoril defender Jordan Arnolin

Barcelona reportedly dispatched scouts to observe 18-year-old Estoril defender Jordan Arnolin during a match against Porto at the Estádio do Dragão. According to Portuguese outlet Record, the Catalan club has been tracking the teenager for some time as they evaluate defensive reinforcements. Arnolin made his first start for Estoril in the match, which resulted in a 4-0 defeat against Porto.

Barcelona could face transfer competition for Arnolin, as scouts from Brighton and Lille were also reportedly in attendance. Manager Hansi Flick recently indicated the club is considering defensive additions ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window. The club has also been linked with other defensive options, including young talents Ruud Nijstad and Arthur Dias, as well as experienced players Alessandro Bastoni and Lisandro Martinez.
