Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon expressed heartbreak following a fatal Learjet 60 crash in Florida that killed nine people. Mixon revealed on X that he had flown on the exact same aircraft with the same two pilots just last month, praising them as incredible professionals and describing the loss as devastating.
The aircraft crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, after departing Austin, Texas, for the Bahamas. National Transportation Safety Board member Tom Chapman reported indications that the plane was breaking up before impact following reports of ice, turbulence, and an overspeed descent.
