A third grade class is scoring big at Buffalo Trail Elementary where students got a special surprise from the Denver Broncos as they are learning about the NFL and football.
A third-grade class at Buffalo Trail Elementary in Aurora, Colorado, received a surprise visit from Denver Broncos mascot Miles. Dr. Sarina Pal's students, who have been studying the NFL through the educational curriculum NFeLementary, also received written responses from Broncos players and were featured in a team TikTok video.
Through the football-themed curriculum, the students learn math, geography, and reading by tracking teams and calculating game scores. The special classroom visit came after the third graders wrote and sent letters to all 32 NFL teams across the league.
