Ralf Schumacher has expressed total confidence that Kimi Antonelli will ‘eventually’ race for Ferrari, even though he has just won the world championship with Mercedes.…

Ralf Schumacher stated on Sky Germany that Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff will eventually have to accept Kimi Antonelli moving to Ferrari. Antonelli recently became Italy's first Formula 1 world champion since 1953 by clinching the title at the Mexico City Grand Prix with Mercedes. Schumacher believes the allure of Ferrari and pressure from Italian supporters make an eventual move inevitable.
Antonelli was selected by Wolff to replace Lewis Hamilton starting in the 2025 season. While Mercedes aims to secure Antonelli long term, reports indicate Ferrari wants to sign him in the future despite having Charles Leclerc under contract alongside prospects Oliver Bearman and Rafael Camara.
