The Los Angeles Dodgers could let Kenley Jansen close out his Hall of Fame career right where it started.

Katrina Stebbins of Dodgers Way argues that the Los Angeles Dodgers should consider re-signing veteran closer Kenley Jansen to a cheap, one-year deal. The Detroit Tigers declined Jansen's $12 million club option after a season where he posted a 3.20 ERA and 22 saves across 45 innings, leaving him just two saves shy of 500 for his career.
Stebbins acknowledges that roster space is tight and that the Dodgers already carry an aging roster. However, she contends that the franchise should accommodate Jansen so he can reach the 500-save milestone in a Dodgers uniform before his eventual Hall of Fame induction.
