Ipswich Town captain Dara O'Shea says he has full confidence in the club's 'great' goalkeepers despite the team's poor defensive record so far.
Ipswich Town captain Dara O'Shea has expressed full confidence in the club's goalkeepers despite a difficult defensive start to the Premier League season. Summer signing Kjell Scherpen started the first four matches before Christian Walton took over for the next five fixtures. Neither keeper has kept a clean sheet yet, with the Blues conceding 18 goals across nine games.
O'Shea praised the high standards and competition in training among the squad's four goalkeepers, noting that Walton has been composed and clear since stepping into the starting lineup. The defender also discussed the challenging transition from the Championship to the Premier League, pointing out that top-flight attackers capitalize quickly on mistakes.
