HC Aaron Glenn Confident Defense Can Adapt…

The New York Jets defense is preparing to face quarterback Patrick Mahomes and running back Kenneth Walker III when they play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn expressed confidence in his unit's ability to adapt to Kansas City's fifth-ranked offense. Cornerback Azareye'h Thomas noted that despite Kansas City's new additions, the defense must remain focused on executing its standard game plan and tackling effectively.
Kansas City signed Walker in free agency, and he has produced 770 rushing yards on 141 carries this season alongside Mahomes, who has thrown 12 touchdowns. The Jets enter the matchup with the league's 11th-ranked overall defense, ranking fifth against the pass and 21st against the run. Glenn emphasized that the defense will alter between man and zone schemes based on matchups to attack the Chiefs' weaknesses.
